The daycare blues :(

Deondre has been in daycare for a while but today was almost as bad as the first day! He now leaves me at 7:10 am that's about the time that he left before but that was with me! Now he takes the KidZone van who brings lots of kids to and from daycare daily....But me I'm super attached, its to the point where we are on ten day restriction because i never send him to daycare. So here i sit debating on picking him up super early :D I get so lonely without my not so little guy :(

Even worse than the daycare blues are taking my guy to get his shots which will be tomorrow!

Just some updates :)

My little guys isn't so little anymore :( but i guess part of being a mommy is watching your little baby grow up :) When Deondre was born he weighed 6lbs 10oz and as of his 6 month check up (10.28.10) he was 19lbs 15oz its been almost a month since that visit and i feel like hes getting heavier by the day aha!


The days are flying by!I feel like i just had him! I remember thinking he would be small for awhile but oh man was i wrong my boy is not even seven months and we just bumped him up to size 18months!


Because of my age I was so afraid for my future but now i can honestly say i wouldn't have it any other way :) I may be a teen mom but I'm a good mom.


I'm taking the steps to better myself every single day! Not everyday is a good day but when those big brown eyes meet mine my bad day suddenly fades away :) I love you Deondre more than anything in this world :)

So Much Has Happened :)

Sorry we have been away so long.....
So much has happen since my last post in July! Deondre has been growing up so fast on me, He now sits up, claps his hands, and has three teeth! Now that Halloween is right around the corner we took a trip to Whitney's Farm in Cheshire,Ma. Deondre had a blast on the swings and touching the baby farm animals. We will go every year if possible :) I'll share our pictures with you :) Deondre really liked swinging! This was his first time in a swing outside of his infant swing. Once he got comfortable he laughed and laughed :)

Barley Cereal :)

Hey Everyone :)

Deondre LOVES barley cereal :) i was very very impressed his first time eating off a spoon he did so well! I really really enjoy feeding him his cereal, but if i don't go fast enough boy does he let me know :) I invested in a bumbo as well he is such a big boy!


The bumbo is my best friend i swear it gives him a safe place to sit where he can see everything and everyone...he's a nosy little guy :) Tomorrow we are going to try oatmeal and bananas so ill be sure to blog about it :) Well im getting off now my little man is waking up from his nap :)

Deondre's Four Month Check Up!

Hey Guys,

Today Deondre, his daddy and myself took a trip to see his pediatrician for his four month check up! It was not so fun this time.Unfortunately my little guy had to have his second set of shots :( i cry every time! It breaks my heart to see him that upset. Thank god i had some support this time. As bad as i wanted to leave the room for his three shots i stayed :( But on a positive note my little guy is entering the world of solid foods :)Important tip from Dr.k "have 2 spoons every feeding to avoid having baby food everywhere!"One spoon for baby and one for me :)

Deondre is now 25.5 inches long and weighs 15lbs 6oz

I've also included a picture of my mom also known as Deondre's Mimi :) The little guy loves his Mimi so so so much. He spends lots of time with her since i work a lot more now :( Mimi is a very special lady, we love her lots :)

Our first vacation

Hello :)

Our little family recently took a three day vacation to the beautiful Wild wood,NJ!! I personally haven't been more than an hour away from home before so this was quite the experience. We enjoyed lots and lots of family time and a mommy and baby first at the beach :) (neither of us had been there before). Mommy took a little time to herself and made a short stop in the amazing Atlantic city!! I just turned 18 in June officially old enough to gamble. So on that note as we walked down the beautiful boardwalk, we came across Caesars palace :) so needless to say i am addicted to slot machines...stop while your ahead right?

i just loved the six hour car ride with my three month old :) haha seven stops later we arrived! But i must say the ride home was faster, we slept A LOT! after an eight hour drive we were back at home with a very very excited Mimi! Well its off to bed for me :)

Meet Deondre, my 4 month old bundle of joy!

Hello,

I would think that the very start would be a good place for me to begin! On March 26th of this year, I gave birth to my son Deondre Luis! We have been growing and learning together from day one. My name is Christie and I am a teen mom with a gorgeous baby boy! I am head over heels in love with him, well, not just me but our entire family is!
Deondre came into our lives at the perfect time! My mother has struggled with a long battle with cancer and has had a clean bill of health for 9 months now. Everyday around Deondre is a celebration of life, not just his but hers! The happiness that this child brings to our lives is unmeasurable and I am excited to continue to be his mommy through his many stages of life.
I love my baby boy and our life as it unfolds! Stay tuned....much more to come!
